What identification do i need for buying alcohol in usa (orlando)?

Hi

I am from Glasgow, Scotland and I will be going to the USA next year. I have been before but this is my first time going being 21. What my question is what type of id will be accepted in Florida Orland to buy alcohol?

Passport (I would rather kept that in the hotel)

Uk Government Issue driving license

International driving licenses (thinking of getting as I will be driving)

Are they strict at Disney hotel as I am staying there for a days. I will probably going to downtown Orlando for the nightlife. Are they strict?

the drinking age in the US is 21 so any kind of drivers licence or official identification of your birthdate will due. and no disney isnt to strict as long as u arent walking around dead drunk. same with the cops just stay in moderation and youll b fine

most employees probably won't really care about your driving license being from the UK, but it is still better to bring the passport anyway. I always hated IDing people, and as long as the birth date and expiration date are ok, neither the store nor employee can be held liable, so chances are the store employee really won't care that much. Bars and nightlife places, on the other hand, are much stricter and will probably require the passport.

Yes they are strict with internationals, so your own license won´t be accepted, eventhough its official. What they do accept is your passport, so carry it with you everywhere because they are going to ask you for it.

Ok. the minimium age is 21 in the Florida. I am from puerto rico so i don't have problem with my id but i don't is it the same cases in international travelers.

A photo ID with your name and birth date will do. Every store selling alcohol can check you ID no matter how old you look.

Downtown Disney will check ID. You can buy a pass to get into all the nightclubs.

Disney resorts sell alcohol.

Always have your ID on you.

best to carry your passport with you if you intend to go and buy alcohol,but any form of ID showing that you are positively over 21
