Ronnie Kray suffered from paranoid schizophrenia. His paintings offered an insight into how his mind worked, almost like a written diary but with art, you have to decode the words and meanings for yourself.

Yes he was a murderer, but that doesnt mean he wasnt an artist and note that your opinion on what art 'is', will not be the same as someone elses, but that doesnt make it any less than a piece of art.
