What if China was a country?

I'm from America and am doing a project on world...Hypothetically speaking...What if China was a country instead of being part of Japan? What would this world be like?

This is such a FAKE post.  

Don't you know that all of us Americans, that would be all of us Mexicans, Canadians, Venzuelans, Chileans, Semiconscious Liberation Army-ans, Hippies, Skin heads, Republicans, Inuit, Comanche, Columbian drug lords, Pakistani cab drivers, Rednecks, USA-nians etc etc etc... know that China is a CONTINENT, Japan and Vietnam, Tibet, Taiwan, Mongolia, Thailand, Bhurma, and all the rest of the tiny little inconsequential provinces there are just a part of China...  Except India, we'll keep that separate so we can still have somewhere with an unintelligable accent to export our call stations too...

Oh wait I wasn't supposed to tell you that..

Scratch that,  You all will find out about all those details in about 7 years or so...

China is an independent communist country and it is not a part Japan.

China and Japan are very different. Different languages, different cultures, very very different. They bicker about eachother and everything. LOL

Sure, they are somewhat similar but very separate entities. :0)

China is a thing to fear and has been for many years.

Japan is an ally for us now since we squashed them after Pearl Harbor.

I don't know where you've been for the last thousand years or so but China is not and never has been part of Japan.

The nearest this came to happening was when Japan invaded China in 1937.

Sadly your question only goes to confirm what many suspect about American's lack of awareness of the rest of the World.
