What if Depsey was 6'6 and willard was 6'1?

would the result be more devestating then it was , or would willard have won ?

  1. Willard could have been EIGHT feet tall. . .the legendary Dempsey would have whipped him anyway.   And if Dempsey had been six six. . . .he could (possibly) have been the best heavy of all time.

  4. Willard had about as much chance as a mounted knight did against a tank.  Willard was a primitive fighter compared to Dempsey.

    If Demspey were 6'6", he'd have lost most of the agility that made him so effective.  Boxers that big just aren't that fast, and a guy like Dempsey at 6'1" could really exploit it.  It's also the same reason why he would beat any of today's big heavy.

  5. Dempsey was chiseled and in shape.  He also had great punching power and speed.  The height would have made no difference here.
