  1. they will have to auction off all there loans and servicing rights to investors.


  2. The FDIC will sell off all the assets until there are none left.

    Someone will buy the assets, price is the question.

    Indymac Corporation (the parent company, not the bank itself) has filed Chapter 7 (liquidation)
