  1. Expand your thoughts - IF God (or a supreme deity (deities)) exists, WHAT is that beings philosophy? Is it is one of the Christian beliefs, is it Islam, or is it some really off-the-wall belief with about 300 believers, that says everyone not a believer will "burn" forever? Imagine!

  2. Surly, if a god or the gods existed he/she/it /they would be wise enough , as well as understanding enough, compassionate enough, caring enough and loving enough, to well understand why those who did not respond to said god(s) did so during their present lifetime and said god(s) would or should be more concerned with those who, for their own profit and material gain, have distorted any and all messages they may have received from said being(s).

If the god(s) did not understand and consider this then, by definition, they or it or not god(s).  If they are not god(s) then why should any consider or concern him or herself with the same?

Perhaps it is better to leave ones fear behind and live in mindful awareness within the present moment.

Be well and, please, be wise.

  3. well, there wouldn't be global warming, the holocaust, war, world hunger, poor countries, fat people, disease. must I go on

  4. In our real world we have both people that can see and people that are blind.  People that can hear and people that are deaf.  People that can talk and people that cannot.  So too we have people that can believe God exist and those that cannot.

  5. ...GOD IS MAN MADE...imagine there is some screaming and foot stomping going on right about now...

  6. God does exist

  7. I often have to answer questions with more questions. Sorry for those of you that don't like that, but to me, life is a bunch of questions and then you die.

Do you mean God is ALIVE? and PRESENT?

Or could this 'God' that you refer to be one that created everything and just went on to other things? Would you consider that "EXISTING?"

I have a hard time imagining an amazing being that is the beginning and the end giving a hoot about the mundane doings of ants centrifically attached to a mound of dirt and water.

  8. "Or be quiet and you shall know me"?  It is worth a try...

  9. What if ALL of the Gods existed?

  10. What if God Doesn't exist? Imagine . . . . ?

  11. God does exist. There's nothing to imagine

when you live and experience the glory of that existence

each and every single day. Even knowing that Jesus

has your back no matter how difficult of a situation

we might be going through. This is something that

is completely inconceivable to the modern mind.

Now I pose to you this question: a life where God didn't

    exist? Imagine...?

    Peace/Joy

  12. It is supreme human arrogance to claim absolutely that there is a god. One must attain the same level of arrogance to claim absolutely there is no god.

The truth is we don't know. None of us know. Nor will we ever know. What does exist is infinity and the human psyche can't cope with that so some invent gods and some, like me, just accept that there might be something and one day I might find out.  In the meantime I try not to be an evil person.  It's a strange irony that some of the most evil events in this world have been perpetrated by believers in some god or other.

  13. What if GOD DOESN'T exist ....just imagine!

From what I can tell, GOD exists differently in each mind. Many minds are sown with the seeds of what GOD is by someone else;s mind.

I mean for lack of a better term, my instincts tell there is something going on out there I/we are not aware of in complete terms. THAT I can accept. What's behind the closed door?

Yes, I love to imagine. And then I realize there is highly likely things I don't have even the ability to imagine ...and I'm sure the are there in some way, shape or form.

If you want a true experience of GOD ...try to imagine the un imaginable!

  14. "What if?" is hypothetical and has no reality in the moment.  And imagination is not reality itself.  Because God is described as infinite, that would imply that It is beyond the limitation of existing and not existing.  The source of existence is not subject to existence or non-existence, thus God is beyond all dualities and non-dualities.

That being said, the mind cannot comprehend infinity or that which is infinite.  Therefore imagining God results in a limited image of what is unlimited and usually lead to what God is not.  The omnipresence, omnipotence, and omniscience of Divinity is beyond the scope of imagination.  Therefore it is traditionally taught in the East to transcend  the limited faculties of the dualistic mind that operates off of illusion, which ultimately reveals the Presence of Self/God that has been classically described in the condition of Enlightenment or Nirvana.

  15. "Imagine" is the correct word about the existence of any gods. They are all indeed imaginary.

  16. sure God exists, otherwise there will be no one to ask...

  17. What if like, we were God? What if like there was only one thing in the universe and this being was called God? What if like we all knew this and everything was light and then we came her to this planet and a piece of God boke off into a body and became a soul. :What if like we all knew that this killing, lying, cheating, selfishness stuff was bad but we just forgot because, uh we want to try to learn it on our own as individuals? What if when we die we go back to that light and finally see why God didnt intervene in all the c**p on earth, bc we had wanted it like this in the first place, to try to get back to it. and thats why everything makes sense on the other side, and hey everyone can see their own idea of heaven because on the otherside they go back to being God or being themselves, or walking alongside with God.

maybe, maybe not. but im imagining.

  18. Imagine what? I can't imagine what to imagine.

Maybe imagine what heaven is like? Does it get crowed? What do non-material spirits do for all eternity? If heaven is perfect, does it get boring? Do spirits just exist in heaven, basking in how perfect it is? But it can't get boring because heaven is perfect, and boring is not perfect. But how perfect can it be, since it can't be as perfect as God?

    I'm all imagined-out already...

  19. Imagine what?  It's just imagination that makes God exist anyway.

  20. We don't need the What in that question, re type the question God exists, Imagine what life would be like if God didn't exits.

  21. that's what every theist does every day

  22. Certainly God exists!  Is this really that open to debate?  Everyone has God in their lives.  Even atheists!  People who believe in God know of what He does for us.  People who claim that he doesn't exist still believe in things that get them by in life.  Had a good day?   "Oh, I was just lucky!" or, "It was fate!" It is in these things that God works.  We just name Him differently.  You call it luck, I say it is God helping you.  So you see, everyone believes in God in their own way, whether they like it or not.

-People who complain about God not helping us have not seen past their own selfish existence. It is our own fault that we don't get visible help anymore.  Ever since mankind learned of knowledge, we have become ever more defiant.  We are trying to decipher the world which we have been given to make it more pleasant for ourselves.  We are trying to be like God.  We attempt to be like God by creating false life in cloning.  We kill our young before they can even see the world.  With so much power, who needs God?  That is why He doesn't speak to us anymore.  It is because we have become self-reliant, in a bad way.

  23. It would be interesting to see him get out of explaining the 6 million Jews incinerated by Hitler, the genocide through the ages, deformity, parasites, child rape, and all the other plagues on humanity, not to mention all the earthquakes, global warming, hurricanes and planet killing asteroids bearing down on us.... With all that happening under his benovolent and omnipotent stewardship....then who needs him?
