What if I buy an iPhone, but not use it as a phone.?

Question

What if I buy an iPhone but not use it as a phone. Is it permitted and forced to activate the phone for phone service? Is it illegal?

Will I still be able to play music, use wifi, and etc on the iPhone?

I am thinking of getting the iPhone just for normal use and for the camera.

sure u can buy it and not talk on it, but u have to have phone service. how will you get wifi? how will u share your pictures? how will you download music?

u should buy an ipod touch instead! its the same thing but without the phone.........then u dont have to worry........its probably a lot cheaper too............good luck =)

um just buy the ipod touch..and a digi camera and just carry both together at all times lol..it would probably come out to the same price as the iphone.
