What if I damage the seat in the movie theatre?

The new Batman movie was really long...but really good and I didn't want to leave my seat to go to the bathroom. Anyway, I got the seat wet. I put my jacket around my waste and left the theatre after the movie, but later I felt guilty. Should I pay the theatre for the damaged seat? Do you think they have to replace it or just wash it?

Wow aren't you ashamed? Are you like 4 years old? Thats nasty I'd be too embarrassed to call to replace the damaged seat. I feel sorry for the poor teenaged movie workers that have to clean it all up.  DONT DO THAT EVER AGAIN!

That's really unfortunate for them, and probably awkward for you, but I wouldn't pay them. It was a mistake. They took the risk whenever they decided to open a movie theater. Seats often break, tear, get drinks spilled on and yes, I'm sure bodily fluids is something they expect occasionally too.

It would be courteous to let them know anonymously somehow so that they could get it cleaned before someone else sits on it. But I wouldn't give them a dime for it. They factor the costs for seat replacements into the ticket price and we all pay enough as it is for those things!

Don't drink carbonated drinks if you thing the movie was that good. Use the restroom before you go in there lol

Theaters assume some cosemtic risks having such destructable seats with the occasional loose soft drink. So, you are just another patron who has made a mistake that the theater has budgeted for to keep the theater in good shape. It would probably be a nice gesture but they really do not expect your money unless you torched the place. The good thing is you realized it was an accident and wont do it again.

dont worry... i let my body fluids free all the time in movie theatre... Oh by the way its not soda thats sticky on the floor...
