  1. In the Quran, there is ONLY ONE verse that says that the people of h**l would say that "And we did not salat".

However, the word Salat and zakat have multiple meanings.

Salat also means support or follow. Or you may say support by being a follower.

Therefore, if you do not uphold the Quran and do not follow it, then in a way you are not doing salat. Since the only way the verse can be true for ALL the people of h**l, is by NOT referring to the prayer (salat), but by implying that Salat in that verse means being righteous and support the word of God. Therefore, you are conditionally correct in your inference.

However, I can guarantee you that you will miss a lot, by not doing it.

    @Edit

As far as Hadith is concerned DO NOT fall in h**l, by following this conjecture.

  2. The difference between you and the prostitute, she was ignorant of Islam or prayer, and since you are not and doing it out of rebellion, then we know where Allah will put Satan because of his rebellion, but the good thing is Allah is merciful, if you are a good servant, he will send angels to guide you before you die, Allah is just, and never unjust. One of the pillars of Islam is believing in the Justice of Allah.

    Ramadan Kareem

  3. We will be judged individually on the day of judgement. No one s forcing you to fast or to practice Ramadan. No on is forcing you to practice Islam, even.

We will be judged individually and you do what is necessary (as dictated by Quran and Hadith) to get to Jannah.

  4. Well, that's the difficulty of the conflicting opinions based on other than the Qur'an.

Prayer and fasting are prescribed in Al Qur'an. Without them, we leave Islam.

Leaving Islam is your choice, of course, but I suggest studying the Qur'an thoroughly for it self, as it is.

The ahadis aren't verifiable as the Qur'an is, so basing important decisions like this on them can cause a lot of difficulty for us.

Disclaimer: I have to mention that I do not intend to issue fataawa, in case the content of this post is contrary to any fataawa previously issued. I mean nothing other than to state my personal opinion based on Al Qur'an, according to my own study, and to the exclusion of ahadis, tafsir and fiqh, also according to my own study, and in no way do I intend to infringe on the personal authority of any person or group who has been elected to issue fataawa for application by any other person or group. This applies to any past or future post I might submit. Its only the best of what I know and is certainly subject to verification, as any post found on this forum.

  5. oh man... oh yeah...you will

especially when you said "praying ever again"....

    I feel sorry for you

  6. I know that story too LOL. But, be careful don't take the mercy of Allah for granted. On the Day of Judgement many of us would have considered doing right deeds in this dunya. Shaytaan is making you believe this thought. Trust me, be motivated to commit the right deeds. The days over there are 80, 000 years long. An average 65 years life would only feel like half an hour. My friend, build up your book of deeds. Ask Allah for his mercy and for his guidance. Don't let ignorance be the barrier between you and Allah.

There are certain Muslims (70,000 from all of Allah's creations) who will get the ticket to Jannah even though they have committed wrong deeds for their whole life.

May Allah protect us from any sort of ignorance...Ameen
