I am 20 years old and i work at a restaurant inside of a casino. As I was leaving work tonight around 9:00p.m. I threw some money down on blackjack and won thirty bucks. I am afraid they might go back and check the cameras so they can show it to the managers at the restaurant and get me fired, and then possibly arrested because i am underage and i am on probation. Would they even bother with something like this? Are the cameras totally accurate? Are they looking for more serious problems?

  1. The answer to your question depends on a few things.  Did anyone recognize you while you were playing?  Chances are they didn't.  If they did they would not have dealt to you.  Are the cameras accurate?  Yes!  Very accurate.  Are they going to roll them back?  Only if someone says something to your supervisor or the pit managers.  If they don't do it that night, chances are they won't.  Are you going to get arrested?  I doubt it.  Especially since they didn't catch you while you were doing it.  Under 21 gambling is more of a problem for the casino than the individual doing it.  Will you get fired?  Only if someone snitches and they roll the cameras back.

  2. Could they? Sure. Will they. Doubt it.

Can't control the past only the future.

  3. what a dumb *** thing to do mostly you will get fired from a good job  butt head

  4. If I were you I wouldn't sweat it. What's the worse that could happen... you'd be fired or you'd have to give the 30 bucks back? It's not like you're gonna be arrested. If your boss says something to you tell them you've been feeling really bad about it and can give the money back.

  5. If you're underage, you knew you shouldn't be gambling. Is it possible they'll look and see you? Sure, especially since your other question said you were wearing your uniform. They may have already seen it and will be reporting it to your supervisor. I'm not trying to scare you, but I'm being honest. As for arresting you, I don't see that happening, but be smarter. If you manage to get away with this, don't do it anymore. It's not about you winning or losing, it's the fact that not only are you an employee, but you're also underage and that could cost the casino a lot of money in fines.

  6. U played with fire.

I suggest you try to work hard and focus on your job then gambling.

  7. Dude, you've posted 4 questions about this topic. Chill out. They really don't look at every single camera and if they found out that you won 30 bucks, I don't know if they might care or not. Think about the worst situation that could happen. The worst thing that could happen is that you lose your job and 30 dollars. Thats not that bad. If you look like you don't care that you did anything wrong, then most likely they won't care that much either.

  8. They don't have time to go back and review footage unless there is something specific they want to check.

The issue is going to be if a member of staff noticed you playing and knows that you work in the restaurant.  If this is against company policy, then they may report you to your supervisor.  If your supervisor knows you are underage, then he or she may fire you.

You just need to never do this again.  You are underage, and on probation.  Why would you risk jail or serious ramifications by doing something so stupid?
