What if I need to cough while I'm getting braces?!?

Okay well I'm getting my braces today and I have a slight cough. What happens if I cough while they're doing my braces will it affect me? Will it hurt? Please help! Thanks.

  1. no you will be fine hon, dont worry if your really that concerned then ask your ortho


  2. Nop nothing will happen! Take medicine for your cough before you go. And just let it slip like if they say "How are you doing today?" before they put the braces on just say i'm doing fine but I have a bit of a cough so that they are warned :)
