  1. Oh, my God.  I never thought of that.  Isn't that a scary idea.  Well, at least they are all out of there and will be able to get the help that they so need.    From what I've been reading the police don't seem to think that the mother knew what was going on but I still find that hard to believe.

  2. thats so scary....if he did died they most likley would have died also

  3. i know..it would be horrible..mary.c.

  4. Good grief I hadn't even thought of that - a very good point.  Thank goodness it never happened, it doesn't bear thinking about.

  5. I'm wondering if Josef Fritzl was thinking the same thing...after 24 yrs the thought of what would happen to them if he died must have crossed his mind. Is that why perhaps he decided to bring an end to it all now?

As inhumane as it was to abuse your own flesh and blood in the way he did, he finally showed some compassion when the 19yr old became seriously ill, that must have made him realise he couldn't keep this awful secret any longer.

  6. wow.. I never thought about this either- just makes you wonder how some people are sooo sick.. thank god they were found- I just hope the 19 yr old recovers..

  7. The door was on a timer, if he was away for a length of time, it would open automatically. Just my chance to say this evil devil worshiping b*****d should rot in h**l.

  8. This news is the most horrid that I have heard for ages. I hadn't thought about him dying and leaving them there. How dreadful that would have been.

My thoughts go out to the family. I hope they are able to live good lives from now on. And I hope that Kirsten recovers and knows what real life is about.

  9. ive been thinking exactly the same all day. it filled me with horror when i thought about it. they would have starved to death with no hope.

  10. Dont be taken in by whats been reported, my theory and a few others, is that Mrs Fritzl knew more than she let on.....

  11. I think that the fact he went on holiday - and during that time his daughter and their children might have fallen dangerously ill - was a hideous and callous act. Had he died, they all would have starved and the bodies would have been found only if the building had been demolished...horrible!

  12. Thats what the news said they think thats why he let them out because he was afraid he would die and they would be down there for good...Thats what the news said....

  13. You are wrong. Guess you have not read more of the details from their articles yet. The door will automatically open if the door was untouched for a long period of time.

Those above have said wrongly too. Josef Fritzl has decided to bring Kerstin Fritzl who is critically ill to the hospital and he had said that he wanted to free from his responsibilities and tired of looking after them for so long. He is also bored of his daughter, Elizabeth. The doctors appealed to the TV for Kerstin's mother to come to the hospital for more information. Elizabeth beg for her father to bring her to hospital and he agreed. But he still did not want to admit he is at fault in the end while he thought that he could succeeded from covering up his crimes by bringing his daughter who is trapped in the cellar for 24 years at his doorstep and deceive his wife that she is back from the religious cult but all these thoughts of his were failed. Later then, he brought her to the hospital. Thanks to the doctor who have wondered where is Kerstin's mother and all these evil cases were revealed. Josef Fritzl then told all the truths about his evil deeds in the past to the police after being caught.

  14. They would have died...fact

  15. It doesn't bear thinking about. Apparently he went on holiday so must have just left them all locked in there when he went. What would have happened if the house had caught fire?

  16. I really don't think that Frau Fritzl knew nothing about it. There's far more gone on than has been reported - yet.

  17. It doesn't bear thinking about.

  18. we  were just  saying the  same thing today. and if there  was  a 19 year  old girl in the basement, he probably had  s*x  with  her too or did he think that would be  going too far?

  19. your grandaughter is very bright//it does give room for thought does it not
