What if Question, what are your views?

What if every person in the world decided to stop working, and reverted to live the way man lived in the stone age, by giving up money and working to feed and protect a small group of friends and family?

I think this is the way we should live, but how do you think things would turn out if people began living like this again?

And I don't care if you think this would never happen.

If this happened, it will be a more peaceful world.

No high tech war-fare, no worries of money, no oil problem, no terrorists, no divorce.

By your definition, we never stopped working that way.

Do you mean if we gave up technology and reverted back to cavemen?

Most work done is not done for self. The computer your using right now was created by many people working on your behalf. You and a small group of friends and family could not create even a little of what is needed for a acceptable life.

Our life expectancy would go down to about 20-30, unless there was a flu or something. No one would live long enough to invent anything. How long before medical science advanced past opium and morphine.

I wouldn't want this to happen.We've naturally evolved from the Stone Age and we've gained lots because of that. Being depended to each other in a society and its complex network is what enables us,amongst other things, to fulfill more than our basic needs. If everyone started living this way, even if every knowledge from the past was somehow lost, we would start evolving towards a society like our own again.

This idea could at least help :

" we have been using the Nature and returning very little or nothing to it"

That could come after end of our Desires.

I think people wouldn't be able to handle it. They are too caught up with the technology we have today and I don't think they would leave everything behind to go back and live like we lived in the stone age. Personally, I would like it, with the exception of me being able to keep books, paper, and pens xD

Hello. Thank you. I believe that this would be a change for the better. Man has become technology and money dependent. I think that sadly there would be a revulsion because so many people "just can't do without" the many frills of life today. I think that we would end up having a more wholesome earth. However stealing would still exist and also murder but it would be more for sustainence as opposed to poverty and greed. Good bye.
