If an Olympic medalist lost his medal, can he get a replacement? I suppose he would have to pay? If he got it many years ago it wouldn't be available any more?

  4. There is no replacement, not even if the medalist becomes filled with hate for his home country and deliberately throws his medal into the middle of the Ohio River.

  5. if olympic athletes loses their medals they deserve to not have one, cuz obviously they don't care about it enough to take care of it. winning an olympic medal is a dream for most people and deserves to be respected not just sitting around collecting dust.
