  1. I would have to say I think that comes with the job.  Who wouldnt have high blood pressure.  If you are looking for a way to get out.  Just flip and say you are g*y.  That seems to work.  Otherwise they will just give you blood pressure medicine.

  2. If you are diagnosed with high blood pressure and you maintain a diastolic reading above 110 after appropriate therapy, you will be referred to a medical evaluation board for medical discharge.

  3. What if he does?  I'm sure he'll just be given medication to help lower it.  The way things are nowadays though, he probably will be able to get better benefits than the average vet.  He probably can get some disability benefits.  I've seen cases where guys who got hemorrhoids while in the service said that the desk jobs that they were assigned or whatever else  they could think of, caused them to get the hemorrhoids.  And, guess what!  These claims were approved by the V.A.  So, it wouldn't surprise me if getting high blood pressure while in the military will also give access to various claims that give entitlement to money and other benefits.
