  1. when it falls .... pray!

  2. Nothing, Stars are gaseous, so there would not really be any impact.

  3. its not stars its Meteorite which falls on earth check this video to find out what happens when a Meteorite hits earth

  4. We, and the entire planet would be vaporized.

    The sun is a star.

When two celestial bodies collide, it is more common to state that the smaller/lighter object "falls" onto the larger/heavier/more massive object.  In essence the smaller object "falls" down the gravity well of the denser object.  So the earth would fall onto the star rather than the star fall on the earth.  And since it is gaseous and would consume the earth within itself, it would be more appropriate to state the earth would fall into, rather than onto or on, the star.

And yes, it would be a good time to pray. -lol

  5. judgement day

  6. Firstly, if star were to ever venture so near as even the periphery of the solar system, earths orbit will alter appreciable.

The nearers it approaches the more weird earth will get.

Earth can either get distorted(change shape)

or it the star approaches sun and not earth directly and it is sufficiently smaller than sun, then earth orbits eccentricity will increase and ill do so to see the two suns on its focii.

if  its larger than sun then i would advise everyone to pray for one last time.

Lastly, meteors are not stars. They are solids, mostly remains of some stellar object that was very much within our sol. sys.

  7. u wouldnt live to see it even come close cuz u'll burn up.. the sun being a star, if it gets an closer than its billions of miles it already is we'll die of heat

  8. then catch it

  9. its called a meteor

if it actually lands on the ground its called a meteroite

  10. At certain times of year, you are likely to see a great number of meteors in the night sky. These events are called meteor showers and they occur when the Earth passes through the trail of debris left by a comet as it orbits the Sun. These showers are given names based on the constellation present in the sky from which they appear to originate. For example, the Leonid Meteor Shower, or Leonids, appear to originate in the constellation Leo. It is important to understand that the meteoroids (and therefore the meteors) do not really originate from the constellations or any of the stars in the constellations, however. They just seem to come from that part of the sky because of the way the Earth encounters the particles moving in the path of the comet's orbit. Associating the shower name with the region of the sky they seem to come from just helps astronomers know where to look!

  11. No chance to fall on earth since stars are so far away from earth, incase if they reaches the earth they will burnout before reaching surface of earth due to high friction and temperature due to chage of atmaspheric pressure.

  12. Stars can't fall to earth.  They're huge balls of burning gases.

  13. The last time something really big fell on Earth, dinosaurs - and other species - got extinct... Are you  thinking of two planets colliding? We (humans) will be long gone before it gets close. Don't worry.
