I just want to know what in the h**l is the USA doing. Why are the People let the Airlines get away with so much. What if theres no airlines what then or what if only the rich can fly and airmail things. It cost way to much to take ship to other county.

  1. Everyone would have to become smart enough to pass their pilots test and fly themselves, except over the ocean. Ships would be good for that. Don`t forget there are cars, trains and buses too!

A bridge could be built over the Bering Strait in Alaska USA into Russia. It is the closest land connection making it possible for a super highway and major train route to be built. Look at it in a map, you will see what I`m saying. Then we could drive into Russia and all connecting countries including Europe.

  2. Well that would suck.. no more holidays!!

But I guess you could take a boat - aghh, how boring! And I'd feel sorry for anyone who gets sea sick easily!

Otherwise I guess you would have to take a train everywhere. But to get from one continent to another you could go underneathth the sea (like the train that goes through the english channel to france). I've been on that and you don't even feel like you are under the sea - it's great!

It would cost heaps for them to make though, but they would earn their money back with all the customers! I bet it would save pollution too.

But yea, eventually they would invent other transport and make more train routes under the water, but at first we would all be stuck with boats!! =[

  3. People will drive. There was a time when people walked thousands of miles and never complained.

  4. high speed electric trains will be built all over the world i'd say... they will probably eventually reach the same speed as planes reach today, and thats how we'll get around... they may even go over some sea's.....

    who knows??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. i think people would go on boats

  6. Well, that question answers itself. If there were no airlines, it would be like it was when there actually were none. You would have to boat it. You would have no other choice. People would travel less. You would see your family less. I would be upset with the airline industry and I would miss my daughter tremendously! 1800 miles is a long drive, but I guess twice a year I would do it. She would have to do the same. We would manage.
