I am scheduled for a DOPPLER STUDY at my local hospital, next week. %I am asked for this Doppler study to check that my blood circulation in my legs is O.K. for my new prosthesis, which is being planned.

What / if any "preparations" do I need to do for this Doppler study? I am a routine Blood Donor and each time I donate blood, I do drink excess water to help "puff" my veins. - I want to do my best for this Doppler study so I can best use my new prosthesis that is being made with the contingency of this study.

Thanks for suggestions.

  1. You're going for an arterial Doppler, which needs no preparation.

  2. There is no preparation necessary.
