Nothing more than is wrong with aggressive people in general.  If there is a reason for the aggression, as in use for returning aggression, it is perfectly proper.  However, being aggressive with not reason is uncalled for in women AND in men.

Nothing wrong with being aggressive. I kind of like not having to be the one to make all the moves, plus it's pleasing to the ego to have a woman show open interest in me. If you go for it and he backs away he's probably insecure.

Aggressive behavior that is combative is not attractive in either s*x.

Being driven, and aggressively pursuing you're goals, such as completing an education or a project, is a display of fortitude and perseverance, and seen by many as a positive trait.

I think it all depends on the context of the situation.

Often they step on others to achieve what they want.  Same with aggressive men.  As others have noted, being assertive is more rounded.

Here are some synonyms I found for the word aggressive:

belligerent, combative, contentious, hostile and militant.

It would be much more acceptable to be assertive.

We're into semantics here, but the poster who mentioned assertive as opposed to aggressive was right.  Generally, aggressive behavior is unappealing, rude, self-serving, insensitive.  Normally associated with men (they excel at it), but women are quite capable of it too.  

Assertive is a much better way to be; it implies advocating for your rights (hey, that's my foot, could you step off it please; pardon me, I believe I was next) in an ideal way.  There are extremes: passive, incapable of acting for one's self / aggressive, insensitive, a*****e.   Assertive is a great place to end up in the spectrum.

women arn't naturally aggressive, nor did they evolve that way.  Aggression is linked to testosterone...the male hormone, therefore, this is not seen as a desireable trait in women.

There are to different meanings to the word aggressive.

One is boldly hostile; quarrelsome.  and the other is enterprising.....two very different definitions.

I think assertive is a better term to use , rather than aggressive.  And there is nothing wrong with an assertive woman.
