It is not possible for him to stay in office past the Election and the Inauguration date.  This is not some crackpot banana republic where Bush was a former General that ousted the last General and took over the Government by force.  We have the 'Rule of Law' in this country and it will be followed.  

If Bush attempted to "steal" the Presidency, it would be the right of the Attorney General to have him arrested, so to speak, and removed from office.  There's a lot more to it than that but it's all quite arcane and I think I have sufficiently answered the question so far.
