What if he doesn't show at Rule Nisi hearing?

Okay tomorrow is the day. AT an initial hearing a judge slapped me with a 1 year restraining order. I filed a motion to dismiss because I'm innocent and want my freedom back. The Rule Nisi hearing is tomorrow. The 'scared' man (plaintiff) tried to get a continuance but the clerks mishandled it so the date has not been rescheduled. His reasons for a continuance were booked and paid business trips.

If he goes on the business trips and doesn't not have a lawyer present tomorrow, do you think the case will be dismissed? Rescheduled?

ARe Rule Nisi hearings short or all day affairs? I went to women's advocate groups and they've never been to a Rule Nisi hearing because most Respondent's even innocent one's don't bother appealing or motion to dismiss.

The women's advocate groups say it's more 'empowering' to live with a restraining order because if you try to dismiss even if you're innocent, you might upset the judge or make yourself cry more. As you can tell I don't listen to women's advocates.
