Question:

What if he lies?

I have heard of men who tell women they are sterile so they can have unprotected s*x; some of the time they lie. So lets say this guy lies and says he is sterile and then impregnants the women. If you're against abortion would you be for her having one as the child was created out of fraud? Could she just have the baby and drop it off with this man and tell him that she is not the mother and will not pay child support because he lied to her?

What do you think? Also to see how equal your stance is what was your side on the Dubay case (the so-called Men's Roe vs. Wade).

  1. realistically, how many men in there 20's...30's with both balls are sterile?

Seems to me it would be in her good sense to, see the paperwork on this one.

  2. There is no such thing as a fraudulent child.   If there is a child born, both biological parents need to feed, clothe, house and educate him or her for the next 18 years (at the very least).

  3. If YOU don't want kids then YOU have to take the precautions necessary in order to remain childless.

I think that lie c**p is the stupidest sh*t I've heard when it comes to the whole 'they tricked me into becoming a parent' thing.

  4. You cannot say that the child is responsible for a woman choosing to be misled.  She should take precautions whether he claims he is sterile of not: it is not as if she can tell the truth of what he says anyway, so why be a fool and believe his word?  Tell him: "condom or keep it zipped, and these legs won't spread until I see rubber on the wang".  Or words to that effect, she can improvise.

True, the bloke may lie, but you can't blame him if you know that you have other options for contraception apart from his good name, sterling reputation (and probably a line of unacknowledged sprogs in his life).  Be wise: if you don't insist on contraception that you can see and is effectively used, then have a cold shower.  Same goes for blokes: sure, she says she is on the Pill, but you do just have her word for it!  Protect yourself, or run the risk of 18 years of financial responsibility for one bare-back shag

It is actually quite possible for a mother in the US to surrender responsibility for a child anyway.  Firestations and hospitals will take the baby without legal ramifications.

  5. A child aside, she would be a huge r****d for having unprotected s*x. At least a child eventually grows up and moves out, you will have genital worts and HIV/ AIDS for the rest of your life.

  6. I'll give my 30-second rant on this one and speak from personal experience.  When I was in my teens and early 20s, I heard those stories.  I also heard too many times from the guy that he does have any condoms.  I also heard that condoms kill the mood.  Bullshit!

I decided then to take matters into my own hands.  I have been on hormonal birth control (easily available, ladies) for years, in different forms.  And I have my own supply of condoms.  And I choose not to be sexually active with someone I don't know the results of a recent STI screening for.  If I choose to be fluid bonded with a partner (read:  no condoms), I'm covered on the birth control front.  If I prefer to use condoms, which under the majority of cases I do, I can help to sensualize them.  It isn't as difficult as some men may think.

I can't believe that some women can be so ignorant as to have unprotected s*x with anyone if they truly don't want to become pregnant.  Unless she's had a hysterectomy, they're asking for miracles.  My last boyfriend had a vasectomy because he didn't want anymore children.  I still insisted on condoms as well as my own birth control.  Call me paranoid.  I prefer to call it playing it smart.

Ladies, if you don't want to get pregnant, get to the doctor and get on the pill... or patch... or shot... or ring... or implant... or get a freakin' IUD.  We have so many choice when men really only have one.  Be a woman and protect your own d**n self.  Don't expect the man to be responsible.  While a real man will be, there are too many losers out there who are looking for gullible women.  Do you really want to be one?

  7. No one should trust that.

And anyway, the law enforces men to support the child and says that there can't be a force abortion.

So yeah, maybe they would lend it to the father.

It's not equal :P, no matter who lied, they want the father to pay for it :P.

  8. Sorry, but the responsibility for birth control is with the person that does not want a child. Just as men use the excuse that they got someone pregnant because the women lied to the about birth control,  "hello" do they not know what a condom is? Same with women, if they don't want a child, then they have three options, use birth control themselves, make the man use a condom , or don't have s*x. It never occurs to anyone to say no. Eighteen or more years of commitment for a child that wasn't planned  get's my attention quicker than a chance for s*x. Does anyone think with their brains today or is it just where the brain is located?

  9. NO

Don't trust what he says without medical evidence

He might have HIV or AIDs

  10. First, I'll state my stance on the Dubay case.  He should suck it up.  Nobody told him to have s*x.  It actually takes quite a lot to make somebody truly sterile.

On that note, I'd tell the woman the same thing.  He shouldn't have lied of course (and women shouldn't either), but she could've been more careful.

I'm not a supporter of abortion at all in most cases by the way.

  11. I would say that if the woman is stupid enough to believe this and not protect herself against STD's with a condom she is a very stupid individual!

Also if she is not wanting a child and not taking precautions such as any form of birth control.  She is also a very stupid individual and deserves what h**l she created for herself!!!!

I would have to agree with what the mens right group is doing for the dubay case.  I think that a man should have a say in his future also!  It should not all be up to the women.  They can do what they want with there future and there body but the man should have a choice about his future also!!!!

  12. Kewl - that's a really interesting question. Thanks - hadn't thought of viewing from that angle :)

Well I guess in manner yes, if she wasn't entitled to abortion.

But then while I may not agree with abortion under all circumstances, I'm not against it as I'm not against her having self determination, I would rather that.

Although your question does broaden the perspective on a 'paper abortion' where by all parental responsibility is assigned to one parent - a more gender neutral situation with it could be beneficial. However she could effectively do that by 1 bringing the foetus to term, and then stating that unless the father was willing to take full parental responsibility the child would go to adoption. Not quite the same, granted, but similar. Your question certainly does make that very interesting to ponder.

Thanks - I shall have to gather my thoughts on that further. I'm not entirely decided on my views on all aspects.

yes - indeed the use of  birth control is an important one. Still not all in life works out so well. The only aspect that works 100% is 100% abstinance.

@ dragonfly - there is a female condom - why do you ahve to 'make' the man do something? 'apparenlty' on the aspect of birth control in this instance he has taken measures. The situation here isnt about stds. Which adds to the situation again.

  13. well, according to some women, anyone with a p***s is a liar and pure fu*king evil.
