well yes it affects me. but before i am not aware of that because i thought im still normal. i just realize its affecting me when i read the symptoms of depression when its affecting yer life.. and then after that i became very conscious/aware whether what im doing is affecting me.. im not really suicidal, or wanna hurt myself. i just know that something is wrong wth my head. because im thinking about things that i usually dont think. well anyway, yes i have a problem and somehow it affects me already.. is that depression?

  1. If you're just sad or going through some rough times, then the feeling will come and go, and it'll eventually pass. Depression is a constant, it's draining, and it's an entirely different level than just being sad, or being obsessed with something going on in your life. If you're depressed, you're constantly tired to the point that you just can't get out of bed, don't want to do anything with your friends, you just want to sleep 24/7. You start to care less and less about anything and everything in your life, and you just feels so blah. You may cry a lot, or you may just be completely numb, to everything. There's just this constant sadness, that keeps creeping up the back of your throat that won't go away. Depression lasts for years, there's a chemical imbalance in the brain that helps cause it. If you just have a problem that's affecting your life, that's just temporary, overcome that challenge and get over whatever it is, however long it takes, and you should be fine. Be careful that you don't start manufacturing symptoms, or make the ones you already have worse by playing mind games with yourself.
