What if i where my new contacts too much?

Ok so on tuesday i just got contacts. They put me on a timscheduleal just to start with

tuesday-2-4 hoursWednesdayay Increase 2 hour

Thursday Increase another 2 hours

and so on so i would keep increasing hours, The contacts are supecomfortablele and i don't feel them at all. And i've beewearingng them more than i should be because i'm onlsupposedst to increase 2 hours every dauntilll i geup toto 10 when i'm at 10 then i can where them when ever, but is there anything bad witwearingng them more? Is it good? Does it not matter?

  1. I think the timed schedule is to help your eyes get used to the contacts. You may not feel it, but your eyes are working to adapt to these new conditions. Remember that they're trying to adjust to the shock of having something over them constantly.

    Plus, it's always a good idea to listen to your doctor....it's not like he just made that up to irritate you on purpose.


  2. well the optician has told you this so your eyes can get used to them if they felt comfortable that is fine just don't make it a habit to over wear the cl's you can do some serious damage to your cornea people don't take this seriously and it is . it can prevent you from wearing contacts period... eye infections and even permanent damage to you eyes so wear them responsibly... enjoy
