What if im in the er during jury duty?

ive been in and out of the er this week due to gallbladder pains.. and i have them very frequently.. what if i end up in the e.r. the same day as the jury duty? what am i supposed to do?

notify the jury board immediately and tell them if they do not believe you they should check with the hospital's ER.

Absence due to medication or emergency is a valid excuse for jury duty but inform the court and preferably provide medical certificates.

You go to the ER. When you're able, you go to the courthouse with documentation from the ER to explain your absence and arrange to serve another date.
