  1. They aren't??.. are you sure....  ooh..! I have to go and touch the stove burner now to see if it"s hot enough to cook on. See ya!

  2. and what if pigs could fly...and thats just the way it is?

teeheehee@braun...saying that dudes are smarter than chicks...when he spews ignorance in his answers. omg stupidity is so funny

  3. Until evidence is shown to support the contrary, I remain a firm believer.

  4. What if unicorns existed?  There's some big ifs involved there.

  5. I'm not sure why you'd ask, "what if."

Men are no more 'intelligent' thank women.

Psychologists have delved into this question for years.

The differences are this:  Men take in information through their logic processing mechanism, then add emotion internally and finally respond through their logical brain.

Women, on the other hand, take in information  through an emotional mechanism, process it logically and then respond through emotion.  But there in no evidence that either the male of female is more intelligent than the opposite s*x.

This weekend and last I attended a college graduation and a high school graduation as well. I made the comment to people at both how telling it was to see at least a two to one advantage for women who graduated with honors.  It was more obvious at the high school graduation for sure, but far more women graduated with honors than males.

So, for me, a man, I'm sure that women are at least as intelligent as men.

    Good luck,

    Siggy

  6. neither are more smart, but each individual is more talented in each area of expertise

  7. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

    hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha....

    ....hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

  8. Men are better in eye co-ordination and mechanical things but females are overall better in intelligence and multi-tasking.

  9. Then I will be very surprised.  I think that mostly men are better in math type stuff and women are better in, well, everything else, but there are MANY exceptions.  Also, I think that men are more primal and animal-like than women, both physically (ie body hair) and mentally (ie more slovenly, more into physical labor, etc.).  All my friends are guys, so I should know, LOL.

  10. What if little green men on Jupiter were planning to launch an interplanetary war to steal all our cheese?

    Fantasizing gets us nowhere.

  11. It wouldn't make any difference, unless all men were significantly more intelligent than all women. It wouldn't make any difference if black people were genetically more intelligent either.

You also don't state how you define intelligence and obviously we would need a true measure of this before we could decide if either gender were more intelligent.

Neurosurgery training lasts six-seven years and from what I can gather leaves no time for family life. This applies after training as well. Women generally have to make more compromises when it comes to family life. You don't have to be a neurosurgeon to figure out that this is going to result in less female neurosurgeons. Same for lecturing.

  12. we can do them we just get ogled and paid less. not rly worth it

  13. Were that the case-- which it is almost certainly not, given the variety of factors determining intelligence-- it would not justify discrimination, because SOME women are definitely more intelligent than SOME men and it would be a terrible way to judge whether or not someone is qualified for a job.

  14. you're funny....

    you should be my pet...

thats the way it should be.

  15. Just like you said,"What if".LOL!!!

  16. 'What if  '  very erudite couple of words there

I'm reading them as  if  they meant the same as

'What if I was to win a million dollars?'

'What if  Brad  Pitt (or whoever) fell in love with me?'

  17. "A British researcher reports that the male ego is often larger than his actual IQ.

"Are men smarter than women? NO.

But they sure think they are.

An analysis of some 30 studies by British researcher Adrian Furnham, a professor of psychology at University College London, shows that men and women are fairly equal overall in terms of IQ. But women, it seems, underestimate their own candlepower (and that of women in general), while men overestimate theirs."

  18. In my dads part of the family we have been bless with genius and super intelligence. I skipped three grades in school and got a scholarship when I was 13. And I am more intelligent then most people in my job. So I do think it is genetic and that you can not do anything about it. It is for either s*x. My aunt (Dads sister) is WAY more smarter then my dad, she was racking super A+'s since she was born and she didn't even need kindergarten or third, eighth, and ninth grade she was to intelligent for that. She's a astronomer. I am a Forensic investigator. A lot of my cousins in my dads side are like that too, and my dad is a scientist and he only made his bachelors degree.  My brother is an idiot and got it from my mothers side. (Very True) He was in special ed and I am six years younger then him.

  19. Since we are a society of individualism it doesnt matter, as long as you produce the right results. The fallacy is with people who assume and then act based upon their assumptions, like feminists for example.

  20. What a puny little man.

  21. depends on how one would define intelligence.

true, male and female brains work  differently in discreet amounts, and males are more likely to have different skills then women and vice versa, but it is unlike that one can prove that one s*x is 'more' intelligent than another. comaprision is more difficult when there are differences.

  22. I think that the man-woman dynamic is such a beautiful and perfect thing.  We are so different in our specialties and what we are good at.  My husband amazes me with the things he knows, the things he learns, and the things he can do.  He built an aviary  for my birds, he rebuilds jet-skis, he remodeled our bathroom, put irrigation in our garden... none of which he has ever had professional training for, he just understands how things work!  On the other hand, if he pops a button on his favorite pair of shorts, I'm the only person in the world that can make it better.  We all have our talents and they should be shared with the ones we love, not thrown in their face.

  23. If men were more intelligent than women they wouldn't have fecked up the world given that they have dominated it sociologically, politically and economically for the past 5,000 years.

Fortunately they are not more intelligent than women and we've managed over centuries to beat their aggressive belligerence. So we have now started to take more power and soon we will rule the world as was always intended.

    Remember these wise words

'when god created man she was only joking'

  24. I suppose if this did happen then you would see the evidence all around us with inventions, buildings etc..

  25. You have just proven that the opposite is in fact true.

  26. Well they are not so whats your point.

  27. isn't it strange how the oh-so-incredibly-intelligent  *woman dominator* answered 688 questions and only 5% were chosen as best? we may have a bit of an ego problem here. oh, and please dont call your brother an idiot. anyone who has the indecency to publicly call their brother an idiot is far from intelligent.

sorry for not answering your question hun, unfortunately i am no woman dominator and do not have sufficient insight and intelligence to provide a SOUND ARGUMENT about your interesting topic...so if i can't say something right, i won't say anything at all. *hint* ;)

  28. Scientists would accept it, sociologists/feminists would continue to think wishfully.

  29. I've learned to accept it, so should the rest of you.
