  1. Life would be harder.  Think of money as stored energy, which it essentially is (job hours = cash).  Unless you have a common currency, there is no stable price and we would all be trading in seashells or livestock.  Then exchange debates: How many seashells is a goat worth?  Why is a seashell more valuable than jade?  My neighbor says he's richer than I am...  The like.  Without currency, there is no standard uniform value for items.

  2. Wow, how can you "go to a store" if there is no sale or trade?  Your question is not logical and your answer is the opposite of your question. Even the cave man traded.

  3. we would run out of our resources much faster...so no, when it comes down to it, money is a good thing if you use it the right way.

  4. through my point of view money is what people want back when they give you something.for an example one person helped you out in work when something bad happened thats an example but that person wants something back.sometimes their are people in life that want something when they give a person a toy or a piece of candy.me i can live without money it doesn't seem something human beings survive on its a good thing that you get when you give.whoever says money is surviving are idiots and its illogiical a coin or a dollar.trust me its not survival and i agree that it would be better if theirs no money.

  5. life would be much simpler. i mean, in the hunter-gatherer days, oil was nothing but a bunch of goo.

but money seems pretty necessary in today's world, you can blame the rise of agriculture thousands of years back for that. that caused job-specialisation and community/interdependence, so some form of currency/barter became necessary to assign jobs and value for services.

the whole point of economics and money is to allocate resources under scarcity.  there is a limited supply of gas in this world, not everyone can have it. so prices are necessary.

if there was no money, who would do the 'dirty' work like plumbing, sewage, garbage, etc.

and there would be limited invention as why "invent" if there is no demand, if your a hunter-gatherer and salvage your own berries.

there is no communal purpose in invention without money, i mean, for most people, unless your like Howard Roark and believe in doing things just for yourself.

  6. The world would be a much better place.  Instead of no money for gas there would be no gas.  There would be no incentive to dig it out of the ground.  With no trade the advancement of technology would be severely hindered, if there was any advancement at all.  A world with no trade or money would be perfect!
