Question:

What if my parents won't allow my emancipation

I am fed up with life at "home" but idk how to tell my parents i would like to be emancipated. I dont think they will allow it either. Are there any ways around what my parents say?

  1. Being emancipated is serious. It should be the last resort. Most teenagers hate living with their parents, I know I did. That is until I moved out. It's hard being on your own. I'm lucky enough to have my parents support but it's hard having to feed yourself, clean everything. If you feel like your parents are overbearing than talk to them. Get to the root of the problem and figure out a solution with your parents.  


  2. When you become emanctipated you become completely responsible for yourself.  Your parents don't have to let you come home again, they will not have to pay child support and they don't have to cloth or feed you....

    You better think twice about this.  If my son come to me and said he wanted that I would let him go...  This may sound off the wall to you but it is a lesson learned...
