I don't think he would be the first in his family to date a black woman, but if he married one he would probably come up missing and the royals would pretend that they don't know what happened to him.

If British Royals marry Roman Catholics, they give up their place in the line of succession.  However, there are no legal impediments against marrying someone of another racial group.  Any future consort of the King of England would need to convert ot the Church of England, of course.  To fit in with the Royals' social set, she would also need to like country life, horseback riding and horse racing, and polo--in other words, travel in aristocratic circles.  

Practically speaking, a lot of reasons exist that would render a possible future Queen of England "inappropriate"; for example, Edward VIII gave up his throne for the woman he loved--an ambitious, twice-divorced American named Wallis Simpson.  Then again, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor were n**i sympathizers, and it was also probably politically expedient to ship them off to Bermuda for the duration of World War II.

So what would happen if Prince William married a black woman? Whether Prince William would be barred from the succession would probably depend on whether he was otherwise considered a suitable sovereign himself and if the black woman he choose to marry had attended the proper schools and came from an appropriate background.  Case in point:  Barack Obama is an African American running for President of the United States, for example, but he also attended Harvard Law School.  In other words, think social class rather than race when posing questions like this one.

As long as she is Protestant/Church of England, is of an impeccable background,well educated,well-mannered, and accepted by the Queen and Privy Council,nothing.Prince William can marry her if he chooses.The only problems that any woman faces in dating,marrying Prince William,would be if she were not Protestant/Church of England,had a criminal background,had questionable morals,didnot have approval of the Queen.
