What if the family and I are captured by a group of scientist?

We are to be put in individual ovens or huge hot tanks for a preset period of time (two or three hours at the highest temp. tolerable to man without causing death) as an experiment. The dream continues for hours while I dread the suffering for myself and wonder if the others will survive.

It was a nightmare and I was relieved to wake.

JuJu that is a nightmare!!! I find that my dreams or nightmares are often symbolic of what I feel or think unconsiously. If I try to relate to each element of the dream as to how I feel  about that person, that hot tank, the experiment, the fear of suffering I can usually figure out what it means. Sometimes these things come from something we saw or heard about in our awake state but maybe not consious of it at the time. Like something that was on TV, or radio...or over heard in converstation. XOXO!

Ouch.... I'm thinking it could represent a sort of self punishment on yourself over something you regret, or ashamed of. As for your family being in the dream... Maybe you've done something that causes them pain as well as yourself for actions you have made? All I know is that dreaming about being cooked for long time is not my cup of tea.
