Manny goes to the Marlins and it just so happens the Red Sox and Marlins meet in the World Series. Do the Red Sox fans cheer Manny every time he comes up to hit in Fenway park, in honor of all his contributions to the team over the years, or do they "boo" him passionately because of his actions?

  1. BOO HIM AND LOCK THE DOOR SO HE CAN'T GO TO THE BATHROOM BETWEEN INNINGS.

  2. We'd boo.

If he had left at the end of the season because his contract option wasn't picked up, he'd have been cheered.  After this week's mouthing off and criticizing the entire organization, no way.

  3. I think he may get more cheers than boos his first time at bat, but after that, he gets more boos & how ironic would it be if he hits a homerun in the top of the 9th inning to put the Marlins ahead & not only does he hit a HR, that's the icing on the cake for the Marlins championship

  4. They BOOO  because that's what Boston is all about.

What have you done for me lately as in last week

  5. I doubt that would happen, but Manny would definitely be booed by the Sox fans... and there's no doubt behind that.

  6. The Boo Him because he's on the other team.

Though in his first at bat some will cheer some will boo.

Manny might make a jester by tipping his helmet to the fans.

  7.    Boo him , he's an idiot !

  8. I think he would get a mix of cheers and booes

i mean, if he came to boston for game 1 of the world series and they didnt boo him, it means that they dont respect him as a ballplayer.. i can see them booing first then clapping afterwards but who knows

  9. I'd say they boo him. Yes he did have some great seasons in Boston and was an important part to both of their championship seasons, but the way he has handled this whole thing has been very unprofessional. He is capable of playing but he sits out anyways you just don't do that when you're getting the money he is.

  10. what if...what if...what if

  11. I'd say he'd get cheered, primarily because if the Sox make it to the WS (long shot with or without Manny due to the bullpen), RSN won't be bitter and would stand a good chance of beating the Marlins.

  12. They're booing him now!  I'm sure you can figure this one out.
