Its impossible for there to be absolutely nothing.  As it is theorized that the constraints of space time or space, are ever expanding as we expand.  So if there was no force pushing out, everything would slam back into a singularity.

this is an interesting question. it depends on what you mean. if you mean what if there was no universe, then:

1. you wouldn't be here asking this

2.there would be no time and space or reality (think of the universe as a giant ball thats always expanding. as it expands, the nature of some things could change and such. outside of the ball, is nothing but white space,)

3. alot of people would get lost.

it must at all times be noted that this may be just one of many universes. infact... if thats true... isn't it possible that there could dead universes... i'll post a question...

Thats impossible to imagine, try thinking about it I have though about it being blank but all white or all black you can't imagine "nothing" its basiclly I guess you could say "impossible" just a opinion
