OMFG!!!

What would have been New Zealand's players in dressing room saying after watching their team mate Gillespi almost losing the match for them?

We all saw England players were so disappointed after giving away the match on the last ball.

Would the disappoints be more if this was that winner takes all match?

Just imagine.

Great match it was.Hard luck England. My commiserations to them.

Congrats to New Zealand.

  1. If the run-out incident happened then Vettori would have probably done an Inzamam and took his players off the field!!

If not he would have definitely not accepted Colli's apology! and he would probably hold the grudge for the rest of his life!!

    Gillespie wouldnt have been blamed!

  2. Why does everything have to revolve around money to you people? Surely it wouldn't be the money in his mind, but having let down his country had that happened.

  3. I think a lot of money does ride on these games and though it isn't 20 large, it's still a considerable amount for some.

This is why the umpiring in cricket needs the best technology available to make the correct decision.

New Zealand thoroughly deserved their win, at the end of the day, what transpired will be forgotten and the result will be in the scorebook.

You can't blame one player for a loss, everyone can do their piece.  Maccullum getting out for 1 can't blame Gillespie, who scored 4 can he?

  4. It was the most exciting and pulsating ODI Match in the recent past.  Full credit should be given to New Zeland tail enders especially Mills for the way they played under pressure and lead New Zeland to victory.

  5. Extremely happy to see NZ cross the line and jumping up and down with joy ... Justice was served when out of nowhere on the last ball, NZ came out trumps

NZ team's refusal to shake hand was a slap on the face of Mr. Paul Collingwood and his English troops. He should not have kept insisting on his appeal, as Benson so wisely suggested.

I would have liked to see, if Paul would have apologized, if he would have won the match ?

England got what they deserved ... absolutely nothing!

  6. I quess we will never know. I have no intention on making any assumptions on the values of any of the players with regards to money and its influence on sportsmanship.
