  1. if we meet aliens they will be doing one of two things. exploring or conquering. in either case as Teddy Roosevelt said " talk softly and carry a big stick(atomic weapon)."

  2. If their planet was dying we might be in trouble.

    Other than that,

I think it would be a great friendship.

  3. Exactly. Anything!

Anything could happen. They could be friends or enemies. We could accept them or not accept them.

Based on the amount of arguing and fighting between different people on Earth, and how some people can hate other people just because their skin is a different color, I am not optimistic that humans would welcome aliens who would almost certainly be very different, and not just in skin color either.

  4. They would attack since we don't know how to spell aliens.

  5. I don't think we would be able to communicate. For some reason,i believe that the aliens think they are superior becuz of their technology.

Humans ,out of greed, will probably yearn for such technology.

    Remember,curiousity killed the cat...

  6. Everyone will freak out and panic (it's worse than seeing a ghost), the police of course will then start shooting. The aliens will get angry and will find how unfriendly we are, and then will decide to wipe us out.

  7. i would ask some alien chick: are you gonna go out whit me?

i mean... who knows... she is maybe very good in bed or have very rich alien daddy...

  8. The world would go into chaos. People would commit suicide en masse seeing that we aren't the "top" species. We would be plunged into a world of uncertainty...

  9. Saddening one who asks this question doesn't even know how to spell the subject right. We don't KNOW how aliens will react to us- they could be mean or resourceful. We don't even know if aliens exist so whose to say how they will act. Your question shows stupidity.

  10. What do you mean "IF"???

I think you are a little naive if you think the government has not already made communication with them.

Our intentions are to gather intelligence data from them. This includes their language, medical technology, their purpose for coming here, life on their planets and of course their technology for getting to Earth. Perhaps they have technology to share with US Earthlings. We don't yet know if they are friendly or hostile......but given their past "behaviors" (medical experiments, abductions, etc...) it is likely that they are most "hostile" than friendly. It probably won't happen like the movie "Independence Day".....but we really don't know for sure.

  11. It depends on the situation. I'm sure if they landed here, they'd be overwhelmed by the mass of humanity and would want to be friends and probe and study us as much as we'd like to do the same to them.  If we met them on the moon or on mars, it would be a matter of seconds before we were dissected and taken to their planet in a petri dish.

  12. It depends on:

-Who is in office (bush would probably bom the helI out of 'em

    -weather or not they attack

-how cullturally accepting the general population is

if the right factors are around at the right time, we could lead a time of peace and prosperity between other worlds.

  13. Judging from how humans act with Mexicans hopping the border, I'd think we would attack them as soon as they went through the sky.  Then, the aliens would view us as hostile.  They would prepare their weapons of warfare.  The Aliens would then fly to a nearest large city and zap out human life in the area.  However, if a disease that the aliens aren't resistant to is in the area, like...say...Tuberculosis or Spanish Flu is in the area.  The aliens would suffer from a plague.  The aliens would not have the resources to immediately get a cure.  They would probably have to flee.  If they stayed, they would risk wiping themselves out.  Or then again, going back to their home planet might eradicate alien life on the plant.  As such humans win again...until the humans blow themselves up with their own tools of mass destruction.

  14. I believe that almost every country would make every effort to preserve and study the new extraterrestrial being. I am assuming you mean intelligent life, so unless the aliens come shooting us with some kind of radioactive ultra-crazy bomb laser pistol, we would Probably have pretty good relations. It also depends a lot on which country they land on. If they land in America, Britain, Australia, or Japan, then they have a pretty good chance of peaceful relations. If they land in Russia, North Korea, or Iran, then we have much less chance of peaceful relations.

But honestly, I have no clue what would happen, but I think it's very unlikely that there is any intelligent life out there.

  15. First of all,  It'd be an ALIEN. Learn to spell.

Also, you have to think: there are no known planets anywhere near ours that habitat life, and it'd be obvious if they had intelligent life. Anything that can master space travel, and makes it to our planet, would not want to destroy it unless we made or make a hostile move to theirs. They would do what we would do, study us then greet us.
