What if you're a single parent with a child and need to go to TJ...do you still need a permission slip from the child's parent? What if you don't know where he is? Can i still go with my daughter as long as i have her birth certificate?

  1. If the father's name is on the birth certificate, you may have a problem...unless you have some kind of legal documentation either terminating his rights, or indicating his "MIA" status.

  2. You need to have notarized permission from the father unless you can supply Divorce document.

  3. if the  father is not around not seeing her then he gave up all rights to her so yes you can take your daughter where ever you want
