Would you vote for something if it meant giving up the way you wished to worship or not worship?

  1. Without knowing how important whatever it was I was voting for was to me, I can't say. Worshipping/not worshipping isn't the most important thing in my life, I'd give that up way before some other things that have been threatened in the past 8 years.

But chances are, if the vote passed, I and many others would revolt and stage a coup anyway.

  2. How do you stop practicing non-belief?

    *head explodes*

  3. pfft if i was forces to worship something that wasent there i would feel degraded and like an idiot so i guess i would rebel

  4. No. This is, historically, the way a lot of armed rebellions have begun. Trying to come between people and their beliefs is just asking for war.

  5. No.

My people have always fought back against the oppression of our own, and all others' rights to free worship.

  6. No. Freedom of and from religion is a necessity in a society.

  7. Who can take away by lack of belief in god? It's not anything that has to be external.

  8. No.

  9. We would worship in secret, like many others have done in the past. I would never abandon my belief in my Goddess. I am the sixth generation Bubastic and my children are the 7th generation. My family have believed in the Goddess Bastet for many generations and we shall not abandon this belief.

  10. I'm an atheist and I would never vote to give up my belief system (or lack thereof).

  11. I'm agnostic, there is no "practice" to my belief system, ditto for the atheists.  Even if you were forced to attend church that doesn't mean you suddenly start believing.

I would never vote for anything that lessened the barriers between church and state.  Religion doesn't mix well with politics.

  12. Spirituality is a personal thing, between one's self and one's God(s).  It is not within the power of people to force others to abandon their beliefs, only to prevent them from openly expressing them.  Christians have been trying to do that for centuries, and it continues to fail.

  13. I support the right of people to believe (or disbelieve) whatever they wish. I would not want to give up my religion, nor do I want anybody else to be forced to give up their beliefs.

  14. my treasure,my life and my belief is in my head and no one can take that from me no matter how much they try.
