What if you don't live your parents anymore and don't have their tax returns?

I am asking this question because I'm currently attending nursing school and would like to move out of my mother's house before I graduate. I know that in order to receive aid, I have to use my mother's tax documents to file for FASFA. What if you don't live with your parents anymore and can't get a hold of their tax documents what do you do?

I believe if you file your tax return independently you won't need the old bags tax return

You call or go over there and ask them for the information you need. You don't need the entire document, do you?
