What if you dont ever mow the lawn at home?

what happens if you never cut the grass for the house will it just look bad or anything decreases? i actually dont know my dad makes me mow the lwan and i always thought of this if i make the grass really tall lol i just wanna b creative so any answer what happen if grass grows really tall?

if grass never gets cut it will gradually start growing bushes of all sorts plus blueberrys  then trees will start growing.

If you don't mow the lawn then your yard will look horrible.

It will also turn to weed.

Be creative somewhere else and go cut the grass.

If you don't mow the lawn in our area, the police come and give you a ticket.         If you still don't mow it, the city will, and put the cost on your taxes.

If you don't mow a lawn, the stalks of grass get thick and choke out the weaker stalks. After awhile, you'll have long, tough stalks of grass (a couple to a few feet high) that will go to seed. The seed pods on the top will probably form a kind of foxtail or some kind of spread out top. These seed pods can also be like stickers or burrs that will stick to you or any animals that walk through there.

As the seeds mature, the grass will start to die and turn brown. This is then a fire hazard. Also, there will be lots of insects, vermin, and other assorted critters (mice, rats, lizards, spiders, etc.) living in the thatch. It will become a very ugly, unhealthful, and hazardous area.

However, there are grasses that are designed to not be mowed. These end up clumping into about 12-inch deep mounds, kind of like moguls on a ski run. I want to say blue fescue does that. Also, some kind of Korean grass.

Bermuda grass doesn't get long, even if you don't mow it. But, it dies out when the temperature gets cold (though it grows back the next summer).
