Unless otherwise instructed my your doctor not to drink it is okay to do so. But do so in moderation and not to total drunkenness. You want your body strong for the surgery and for healing afterward.

Drink lots of water.

That should be ok provided you still give yourself a few days to detox before surgery.

If your doctor specifically said "no drinking" then you will need to tell him of your drinking as it may interact with the anaesthetic
