  1. You contact the Court - a number was undoubtedly provided - and tell them you have moved or you will not be back until some future date. If the latter, they may reschedule you. But if you ignore it, you may find that your voter registration becomes void over time. So do what the form says (or contact them via the Internet).


  2. call and explain.  they will schedule you for a later date.  if you have moved permanently, you need to register in your new state and you will be removed from the roles in the old state.

  3. Call the number on the jury duty form and explain.

  4. mail in your verdict

  5. Notify the proper person so the judge will not issue a warrant against you

  6. ya. call the court office noted on your summons they are pretty cool about it ( its happened to me twice)
