  1. all those people who have fought and died for your right to participate in your own justice system would have done so in vain...

  2. Give it a try.

    I hope you get caught.

Instead of spending all this energy trying to get out of your civic duty, just go and do it!

  3. you should not try to get out of jury duty. its your responsibility as an american to be part of the process.

  4. You could be found guilty of perjury.

  5. 1 - Get caught and it's a misdemeanor for which you're guaranteed a conviction.

2 - Probably not; sounds like you oughta stop lying though if it causes you to come here and ask a question like this.  It will be easier on you.

  6. You go to jail for obstruction of justice.

Ha! Just kidding, I doubt they care. There many people they will call in and then screen out some anyway.

  7. They may very well verify it and you can be charged with perjury and filing a false instrument. Felonies.

Not really the kind of convictions you want on your record.

Hope it was worth it! The good news is that after your convictions, then they will exempt you from jury service as a convicted criminal. Then again, so will most employers, landlords, banks etc...

I'm also surprised they gave you an exemption for a child. Plenty of people have children and have to serve. that shouldn't be an exemption at all.

  8. They may or may not look it up but if they do, and they find out it isn't true, you'll probably get cited and fined for contempt of court.

  9. You don't have to lie. Just tell them you are a staunch racist and you WILL vote to convict any minority.
