  1. the only thing i'd really worry about is my family being murdered, or identity theft, i pray to God that everything turns out okay, and he makes sure. you have to life with the choices you make. don't regret the ones you made, regret the ones you didn't

  2. Ive already done the wrong college study choices....Lets hope I make no more :|

  3. Friend, the only way there shall be no way back from any life choice or decision is if you are dead.  Yet we are eternal beings, and when we leave this life we shall go to heaven or h**l.  Then there is that lake of fire of which there is no way out. So one should consider, where one would want to spend eternity, then one must say to you, Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life.  So bottom line, while in this universe on this our planet, there is always time for picking yourself up and dusting yourself off, and say this day is the beginning of the first day of the rest of my life, because I believe to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living; here and now.

  4. I would feel firstly: annoyed, because all of memory studies suggest that is not how memory works and obviously they've been lying to us for some mysterious reason. Secondly, there is nearly no single decision that limits your options for you whole life in such a way that you are always unhappy. Some will limit options but new choices in the future send you off in a direction you've never considered before. Find a direction you like. The exceptions being suicide and *severe* physical injury that leaves you bed-bound for a life. And sometimes not even those. It's the choices you make *from* that one decision which make or break your life.

  5.   Everyone makes wrong choices. It is part of life. It is what makes us grow  and hopefully not make the wrong choices once again. For instance, many people break up with a person but wind up going with the same kind of person they couldn't stand in the first place. That is a wrong choice. Or is it? Whatever it is, it is choice whether it is unconcious or not. The thing is, is not to go crazy over choices. Accept what is and live.

  6. It is normal to make mistakes in our life, we are humans.

Every single day, a lot of people realise about a wrong decision they made in the past that affected their life the wrong way.  If you can still correct that mistake, go for it!.  If it is too late, just take it as a learning experience, do the best that you can with the situation you are in at the moment, and be sure to learn how to do it better next time if the same problem or situation comes to you.  That is all you can do!.  Learn to take the best out of the worst or out of your mistakes, we all learn from mistakes.

  7. Here's a different outlook: how about choices that life made for you?

I was diagnosed with a mental illness. I didn't choose it, I certainly didn't want it, I was born with it. It does affect my entire life - friends, acquaintances, former co-workers stigmatize me because they think I'm "crazy". I have difficulty finding a decent job now and I have a 4 yr college degree in Business Administration! My own parents disowned me because they think I'm "insane". We haven't spoken or seen each other in over 10 yrs. At least my sister keeps in touch.

"May I correct this 'mistake'?" I don't know how to. Has this turned my whole life upside down? Most definitely. I used to be a happy, outgoing, gregarious, energetic person who loved to help other people by volunteering and giving my own time. Now, I couldn't do those things if I tried. The medication I take makes my brain "numb" and I can't even make a simple decision. I sometimes hear and see things that are not there (but my brain tells me they are). I can cry at the drop of a hat, and I can stay depressed for days at a time, without any contact with the outside world. Believe it or not, I've been in treatment since 1997!

So, to answer your question, there are some circumstances in life that you are powerless to change, whether you want to or not.

  8. Everything happens for a reason but do not regret what you did, regret what you did no. If some of the choices you made did not work you always have the opportunity to  take another one hoping for the best, you always can rectify a bad decision and start over again in whatever field of your live.

  9. even though there is no way back , there are always multiple ways forward :)

we can only let the past inform us as to where we would like to go in the future.

A quote I recently heard, (not sure if its verbatim) "be the change that you wish to see in the world" - Ghandi.
