What if you put a stop order on a stock but the next days OPENING PRICE is lower than your limit order?

Lower than the stop order price you set at the opening price what happens??

  2. There is a "Stop Loss" and a "Stop Limit"

    If you put in a stop loss at 52.625 and the stock hits that price, you will get the next value it trades at.  so if it hits at 52.625 and the next trade is 50.75, you get 50.75.  The Limit order is if it trades below your 52.625, your shares will NOT be sold.
