What if you started to co-write a story (that you yourself titled it, did the artwork yourself, and it's only 4 pages long right now) about your life and you thought you was writing it with your best friend and you both go your separate ways and wasn't a good separation either (due to their lying and so forth) and now they are asking for the story back even though it's about your life. Do you one give it back, two say it's about my life though you were in it though it's not stated in the story yet, and or three say you'll finish the story and give that person a little percentage of the profit if it sells?

  1. Well if it is co-written there is nothing you can do about it. She/he is the author just as much as you are. Title's mean nothing, they are so interchangeable. The only thing you have a claim to is the artwork. You both wrote the story, you both have to share the ups and downs that comes with it.

    Sorry.

  2. Just send them the freaking copy. What's the big deal?

  3. keep everything you've done [artwork] but chuck the prose in the bin, and then re-write it, the rest is just too complicated
