What if your husband gives no response after hearing about third child?

I am pregnant with a third one unexpectedly and he found out and gave no response, of course he is working and naturally got busy again. I'm a little offended because he said nothing.

Maybe he didn't hear? If he did hear though, you do have the right to be offended, that would hurt my feelings also!

Don't let yourself get too offended at it. It's just as likely he is/was in some kind of stunned silence. Let him respond and you'll probably find it a pleasant thing.

WEll honey, men are like that.  He is probably happy but immediately started thinking about how much harder, longer he will have to work for the third baby and maybe life insurance in case he keels over and does that mean he can't go fishing on Saturday anymore with his buddies sort of thing.  Men are providers and he is just trying to figure out how he can provide.  He loves you and if you ask him he is happy about the baby.  Give him a few days in his cave and don't poke the dragon.  You will be happy.

I think that he is just shocked. There is a lot of responsiblity for a child and to have 3 that is just that much more. He is probably just thinking about money, etc.  Just give it a few days to sink in and Good luck!!
