What immages would go well with this music?

I'm playing the third movement of Beethoven's Seventeenth Sonata soon at an Arts Centre, and I need pictures to reinforce the themes of nature in my piece. Since the sonata is known as the Tempest, I'm going to play up the storm-at-sea image, although the title really refers to the Shakespeare play. No one will know the difference.

So, I'm looking for paintings mostly, but photographs (or woodcuts or sculptures... whatever) would do well also. Anything you can think of is great.

Here's an OK performance by Helene Grimaud, to inspire you:

  1. The French impressionist painter, Maurice Utrillo might be worth checking out.

I have no website for reference, but I used to own a print of a painting by him of Hector Berlioz's house: it consisted mostly of swath after swath representing autumn tree foliage; should match the music you are to play beautifully(listened to your posted video)if you're able to locate a print of it.

                Good luck on your performance,
