  1. Luckily, my class is doing this.

The impact of the Cold war on developing countries was that the Soviet Union tried to get the surrounding countries to be Communist and also the spread of it to the United States. Although it was successful in some, it wasn't in other. The United States provided economical funding for countries that were against Communism such as Turkey and Greece; they provided a small army for Greece against Communist insurgents. This was known as the Truman Doctrine and the Marshall Plan.

The global impact of the Cold War was that the United States and Soviet Union was basically in a stand-off of a nuclear war. After the U.S. had bombed Japan, the SU saw the power of the nuclear bombs and started their own projects. The US feared another war, especially one that would have to do with nuclear bombs. SU also started settling nuclear bombs on Cuba, which the U.S. disagreed with, since Cuba was close to the U.S. and that lead to the SU and US signing a treaty that stated that the SU would take back the bombs if the US stopped barricading Cuba with their naval ships. The Cold war also after some years led to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the Warsaw Pact.
