  1. I read about an article just a week ago:

    Global warming and the melting ice caps. Bangladesh is on slit, so that makes it even worse. Plus, monsoon season.

    People have to move more inland because their land is being flooded, and when it floods, things get contaminated causing sickness.


  2. Flooding has a huge impact on just about every area of Bangladeshi life. The most obvious aspect is the physical destruction of so many homes and lives. Also, though, crops are destroyed and sickness runs rampant because of all the waterborne illnesses. The local economy suffers terribly, as well. Floods only worsen the condition of this third-world country.
