The trouble with systems is that every so often they throw up horses which you don't fancy so that you need iron discipline to back them in spite of your better judgement. So you decide to exercise your judgement to eliminate occasional selections and sooner or later lo and behold you have eliminated a big priced winner.  Most important is recent good form out of a good race in which it was well backed.

If you could get a copy of tomorrow's newspaper  that would be an error proof system. Other than that, horse racing is too unpredictable.

The important thing to keep in mind is that horse racing is too dynamic to completely fit into one system, no matter how good.  You have to evaluate all the different factors: class, breeding, speed, distance; you can't just reduce it to a formula.

The key to any good horse racing system is the consecutive streak of losers you will always encounter . By that I mean when you lose a bet , how many consecutive losers in a row will you get before it wins again .  Many horse racing systems have some merit to them in their own way . They all lose at times , some will lose a lot of times , others now and then , and some hardly ever . A good horse racing system should first show a short losing streak when it loses and then resume the winning trend . Usually , its not the system that loses but the player causes it to lose by varying from the rules of the system . Naturally a good horse system should show winning trends and profit in the long run . One day is not sufficient , one week is not sufficient , one month showing a profit is getting there now , months in a row with a profit is really starting to get there , and one year showing a profit is great . Also the system should be easy to understand and easy to make the bet it calls for . Also the system should be easy to test out before wagering real cash . Start with at least one months results of the system used . If it shows a profit over a month , then you have two choices : start betting it now or carry out the study for a few more weeks or another month . When you feel that the system works and you are ready to wager , then do it with real money . Start with small wagers just in case and if winning is consistent , then increase your wager to a certain level and stay there for awhile . If you are still winning , then take the rubber band off your bank roll , put on your most comfortable betting shoes , and head to the track or off track betting parlor and start making your self rich . Never be discouraged on a loss here and there if you feel your system is working and shows a profit . If you have no mathmatics ability, then you keep score on what you hear and see and make a bet when you figure that what you hear and see is due to happen cause it has not happen yet..

If you cant read, then do the same as above, and make a small wager on a triactor of your choosing.
