What in-car speaker??!

i have a 1997 ford escort and im looking to get some new speakers so i need to know the size of my speakers and also any recommendations? post links please?

Your best bet would be to go to Crutchfield.com and put in your car specs.  They will give you a list of what speakers will fit in the original spots, plus what head units will fit.  They also recommend different subs and amps that work together.  This is a great way to start out, but I don't recommend buying anything from them.  They are a little pricey, you can find better deals on the internet.  Once you do have everything you have the problem of having it installed.  As most people are they have no clue on installing stuff like that.  You can always take it somewhere to get installed, but they usually charge $50 an hour for installation, plus all the extra c**p they throw in.  Best bet is to find a buddy that knows how to do it.  I was that guy in high school.  I only charged beer.  If you have any questions about install just let me know.
